RDBMS Unix Administrator

Responsibilities:
Focus on gaining technical expertise and developing business relationships as well as making decisions or recommendations for solutions which may impact the overall outcome of the assignment. Additionally, this resource should demonstrate the ability to work closely with clients/users to meet their requirements.
Requirements:
Work Location: Singapore
Required Skills:
- UNIX power user i.e. Experience with Linux, Solaris
- Shell & Perl scripting. Ability to develop support tools/scripts as required.
- Intermediate to Advance knowledge of RDBMS (Sybase, Oracle, MySQL) & associated tools, including SQL, stored procedures, triggers & other DB objects.
- Good working experience in supporting applications using Web / Application server technology (Websphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, Apache, etc)
- Basic JSP Knowledge
- Other desired technical skills, knowledge and experience i.e. Autosys, Market Data "MDS" Knowledge, Informatica (knowledge of data warehousing systems & concept)
- At least 4+ years of proven working experience in a support environment.
- Understanding of incident & problem management methodologies
- Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery – Familiarity with approaches & procedures.
- Knowledge of Clearcase or Subversion source code management system
- Security Issues
- ITIL Familiarity is a plus
